The Arcata Playhouse presents a double bill of acoustic roots and blues guitarists on Thursday, March 26 at 8pm. Pacific Northwest guitarists Thad Beckman and Terry Robb will perform separate solo sets and join together for an exciting evening of dynamic acoustic guitar music. Beckman is a longtime Humboldt favorite with roots in the local music community that go back many decades. Rob is known for his signature finger-style playing which has earned him international acclaim from worldwide audiences, esteemed music critics and his distinguished peers. Incorporating elements from Delta blues, ragtime, country, swing and jazz Robb has built a unique sound that has made him a legend in his prolific music career spanning four decades.
